Lobby cards were distributed to theaters typically in sets of eight (though sometimes could contain more or even fewer). A complete set can typically include one title card and several scene cards (though later films would sometimes forgo a title card). The title card typically included the title of the film, the production company, the main actors, and director.

Conditions of the cards vary. Here are details for each:

Card #1 - small chip in right border, minor pinholes in corners, some small spots on lower middle border

Card #2 - minor pinholes in corners, some light dirt on upper right corner, 1/2" tear on lower left repaired with tape on the back. Tape does not appear to be affecting the color of the paper

Card #3 - pinholes in corners, 1" tear in lower right repaired with tape on the back. Tape does not appear to be affecting the color of the paper, small chip on lower border, small light spots on lower left, small spots on back that have bled through to upper right border

Card #4 - pinholes in borders, some very light dirt on lower right border, small stain on pink dress, tiny part of upper right corner torn off

Card #5 - small pinholes throughout card (difficult to see), larger pinholes in blue portion on upper right, yellow portion on upper left and in border on lower right and left, small 1/4" tear to the right of the card number on bottom, dirt or discoloration on upper middle near border.

Card #6 - small pinholes throughout card (difficult to see), larger pinholes in blue portion on upper right, blue portion on upper left and in border on lower right and left, small crease in lower left corner, small spot on "MGM" on lower border

Card #7 - small pinholes on borders, small black mark and dirt on upper left corner, dirt on lower right corner, 3/4" tear on upper border, three 1/4" tears along right margin (spaced out), some crumpling and tiny paper loss on upper right corner, some crumpling on lower right corner.

Card #8 - pinholes in corners, a few pieces of tape on back and front (could be reinforcing or repairing tears, hard to tell), lots of dirt and spots throughout including large spot on Elizabeth Taylor, paper loss in lower right corner, two 1/4" tears (unrepaired) on left border, paper loss on lower right of image (shows as white on the bed frame), roughest card of the set
