Advertisement from "La Cinématographie Française" Magazine. Illustrated by Harold Pearl. Great black and white illustration by the notable French cartoonist Albert Dubout (1905-1976) announcing the original release of the film for Christmas and New Year featuring Dumbo the elephant and a crow flying over the streets of Paris with a crowd of people below desperately waiting to see the film and watching a parade of five men carrying placards with the letters of the word Dumbo on them, the Eiffel Tower visible in the background and the text above.
Due to WWII, the movie was not released in France until 1947, where it debuted at the Cannes Film Festival. This is for the original French release.
